Surat al-Ikhlas chapter 112.

In the Name of Allâh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

[1] Say (O Muhammad) "He is Allâh, (the) One.

[2] "Allâh The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need,

[3] "He begets not, nor was He begotten.

[4] "And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him."

Al-Qur'an

Definition: the Arabic text that revealed on Prophet Muhammad by angel Gabriel, used in performing the five time prayers (salat), and contains all the chapters of the Qur'an starting with the Opening (al-Fatihah) and ending with the People (al-Nass).

Consists of 114 Chapters. Each chapter called surah (pl. Suwar). Every surah contains certer number of verses. Each verse call (ayah, Pl. ayat).
